She was just a little girl when she witnessed this cruel world
how it can be hard, so unjust, how life can be sad.

The jaws of sickness tolled, devouring flesh and soul of her loved one
she couldn't understand what and why, she cried

A beast small but mean, always wants to win
never has enough, just needs more, until it has it all

when the beast had it's last bite and suffocate the light
left nothing but grief and tears in the mourners lives (eyes)


When she went through her own void, was thinking of it all
she whished "this life can't be mine" , this life can't be mine

Maybe I am dreaming, this cannot be real
this life can't be mine

This life can't be mine

She was just a little girl when she saw the sadness unfurl
how it can be hard, so unjust, how life can be sad.

The jaws of sickness fold, her loved one is cold
her loved one she couldn't understand what and why, she cried

Who's the one who's ruling?
Who's the one who's fooling?
The eyes of god?...or the devil's eyes?
