Part II: The Mind (Making the Darkness Conscious)
Just as no one ever became enlightened
By visualizing angels and figures ov light,
But by making the uttermost darkness
And the most terrible demons conscious;
Just as Dante had to go through the Inferno and Purgatory to reach Paradise;
Just as Jesus, after the crucifixion, had to descend to Hell to be later uplifted to Heaven;
So a thelemite has to cross the Abyss and defeat Choronzon
Before he is let to step into the City ov Pyramids.
And so, analogically, Mankind has to go through the greatest ov all woes and sufferings,
Through Famine, Disease, War & Death, through the darkest ov all times,
It has to be confronted with the beast within,
And not to try to defeat what is invincible, but accept it,
In order to be able to rebuild an earthly paradise for everyone.
This is the step...
Making the Darkness conscious...
Where hitherto all prophets and spiritual teachers failed...
Almost 130 years passed since Nietzsche wrote his Gay Science
We all know by now that God is dead -- it's nothing more than a vague, empty word --
And all His temples are like His gravestones.
We live in an era ov immorality (which is the first step to immortality!)
We live in the best possible time to make the Darkness conscious!
